About EACI
The East Austin Community of Al-Islam is an Islamic organization/community begun in 2009 to serve the needs of East Austin and the surrounding area. Our activities include education, entrepreneurship, civic involvement, and interfaith activities. Along with our pioneers, we have prospered and have been blessed to support and give aid to our surrounding community.
Mission Statement
We are committed to establishing a balanced community life in its broadest sense, not leaving anything of value out. A community witnessing the eternal wisdom of the words of G-d and the life exemplified by Prophet Muhammad ((PBUH) peace and blessings upon him). We will cultivate the patterned growth of human excellence and good character through building valuable relationships with all
G-d conscious people.
We offer Jumu'ah (Friday) prayers as well as Sunday ta’leem (education/instruction) and Arabic classes.
